Useful tips and tricks for Runescape Beginners
Runescape is an incredibly popular MMORPG game that has been around for a long time, and many players have been around for quite some time. But even if you've been playing for a while, there are still some things you may not know about the game. In this guide, LOLTANK will be discussing five useful tips and tricks for the game that you may not be aware of.
Kiting Next in the Theatre of Blood
When you are engaged in a fight with the Theatre of Blood boss, Next, you can actually stop her from chasing you around the room by switching to a melee helmet and melee boots just before phase two. This puts you out of range of where Next will decide to melee you, instead of just ranging you from a distance. Doing so can make the fight a lot easier and reduce the amount of food you have to consume.
Defence Abilities Scale With Shield Tier
Some defense abilities, such as Resonance and Barricade, scale depending on the tier of the shield that you are using. For example, if you use a tier 90 shield, you will get the most out of your defensive abilities. Even if you are a learning player and using a lower-level shield, you can still obtain a tier 90 shield from the Grand Exchange for a relatively cheap Runescape GP.
Turn Off Loading Screens
If you have a higher-end PC, it may be worth turning off loading screens when you teleport. This will make the game feel more smooth and reduce the amount of time it takes to get to your destination. However, if you have a lower-end PC, it may still be worth having loading screens on, as they can reduce the amount of lag that you experience.
Adjust Your UI
If you have your UI set up around the side of your screen, you may be missing out on some parts of the game. To get back some of that perspective, you can go into Edit Layout Mode and move your game view back into the UI. Doing so will ensure that you can see the full game and not miss out on any of the action.
Buy Viswax
If you plan on doing a lot of teleporting, it is worth buying some vis wax from the Grand Exchange. This will reduce the amount of time it takes for a teleport to go through and make your travels much smoother.
By following the tips and tricks in this guide, you can get the most out of your Runescape experience and become a master of the game.
